Our commitment

We want thegirlstee.com to be usable by everyone — parents, kids, screen reader users, and visitors with motor or cognitive differences. We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA as our standard.

What we do

• Maintain text contrast ratios that meet WCAG 2.1 AA.
• Provide descriptive alt text on product photography.
• Use semantic HTML and proper heading structure.
• Make navigation usable with keyboard only.
• Avoid autoplay video and audio.
• Publish garment measurements clearly so size decisions don’t depend on visual comparison alone.

Known limitations

The site is built on third-party platforms (WordPress, WooCommerce, Astra theme) and we continue to identify and fix accessibility gaps. We do not yet claim full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance.
