Size & Fit Guide

Find the size she’ll actually wear.

We measure the garment, not her body.

Body charts assume kids grow in a predictable shape. They don’t. Two girls the same age and height often wear two different sizes, depending on how they like a tee to fit. So instead of asking you to measure her body, we publish the exact measurements of each garment – chest and length, in inches and centimeters – and we’ll add sleeve once product #1 ships and we can measure real samples. You compare those numbers to a tee she already owns and likes.

How to measure a tee she already owns

Pick the tee in her closet she reaches for most. Lay it flat on a hard surface, smooth out the wrinkles, and measure these two things:

  • Chest width – measure straight across, from one armpit seam to the other.
  • Total length – from the top of the collar, where it meets the shoulder seam, down to the bottom hem.

Write the numbers down, then use the calculator below as a starting point. When our shop opens, every product page will show our measurements next to those two numbers – so you’ll know if our M matches her favorite tee, or if our S is closer.

Enter the chest width and length from a tee she already owns and likes. This compares those two measurements against our Bella + Canvas 3001Y garment measurements.

L34.5"23.375"
XL36.5"24.375"

This tool compares two measurements – chest and length – against our real garment measurements, not an age chart. We don’t yet have a published sleeve measurement for this size; we’ll add it once we can measure real product. Full method and more detail: measure a tee she already owns.

Between two sizes?

If the calculator puts her between two sizes, choose based on the fit she prefers. A little extra room is usually easier to live with than a chest that feels tight, but the right call depends on the tee she already likes wearing.

Wash and shrinkage

Cold wash, low tumble dry. Cotton-rich tees can shrink somewhat after washing, so if a size feels borderline, choose the option with a little room rather than the one that already feels tight on paper. Avoid bleach. Print side inside-out for longer print life.
